Ed has returned to Pueblo after an absence of 15 years.
During this absence he traveled and painted in Mexico,
Alabama, California and Arizona.  It was in Arizona that
he fell in love with southwestern art, the landscapes and
the native lore, which he has studied for the last 12
years.  It was there that he created “The Tombstone
Collection”, consisting of 12 paintings of Tombstone’s
famous buildings and the people who lived there in the
days of the 1880’s and Wyatt Earp.  That led to the
“Mescal Collection” of the ghost town where the last
Tombstone movie was filmed.
His education included studies at the Chenard Art School
and various art schools.  Ed continued with his media
choice of acrylic and mixed media.  He has won awards
in California, Arizona and now Colorado.  At present,
besides displaying his art at Steel City Art Works gallery,
Ed teaches art & painting for senior citizens here in
Pueblo.
Ed is a retired aircraft engineer, architectural designer
and has been an instructor at Pueblo Community College
for 3 years.  In his retirement he is focusing on large
Colorado landscapes of which there is and endless
supply.  He invites you to share the beauty with him.
