Education:  BSCE, MSCE
workshops.  My instructors include Tim Deibler, Tom
Owens, Steven Quiller, Carl Purcell, Kim Mackie, Teresa
Vita and Jill Starkey.
Mediums:  My primary mediums are acrylics, oils,
watercolors and mixed.  My favorite is acrylic as it is
both versatile and durable.
“A photo is worth a thousand words, a good painting is
priceless”  unknown
“Creativity is allowing yourself to make mistakes.  Art is
knowing which ones to keep.”                              Scott
Adams
Subjects:  I love to do historical paintings of the CF&I
Steel Mill, Colorado narrow gauge railroads, and old gold
mines.   Another favorite is painting sail boats I have
sailed on in the southern Caribbean and off the coast of
Maine.  Additional subjects include southwestern desert
and mountain landscapes.
Awards:   As a professional artist for the last ten years, I
have sold many paintings and received many notable
awards.   The last time I listed all of them it filled two
pages.  If you are interested, I will be glad to share
these on a personal basis with you.
