Tom Ossner
Artist bio      Tom Ossner:    A Sheet Metal Journeyman
for 26 yrs., a welder, and contractor I’ve been around
art my whole life.
My father Don Ossner, was a well known oil painter in
central N.J.where I was born. At a young age I was
taken to Art Shows on weekends to help load and
unload the family van of paintings.
My wife Charlotte and I lived in Hillsboro, N.C. for
14yrs... For 8yrs I worked at a place called Reba and
Roses, a landscape and design nursery, where I was
hired to start the water garden section (I raised
Japanese Koi). It was there that I was exposed again to
the art world. This time around it was sculptures by
local artists in the gardens. The years being exposed to
such varied materials used in the art world were
incredible. I wanted to do it all , but found my passion
was,” the feel of the wood, steel, fabric, and glass”....I
guess my German heritage has me favoring steel the
most.

We have been in pueblo for 7yrs. We like how friendly
everyone is, and bought 40 acres and built our
retirement home (no we are not ready or old enough to
retire yet). Have made some great friends hope to find
some more.
